Wed Evening DVD Series
The outstanding DVD Series “A Clash of Kingdoms” concludes tomorrow evening with a segment entitled “Confronting the Empire.” In this video we will travel to Greece & Thessalonki to see how Paul & the early Church confronted a dark culture with the light of the Gospel. Adults & Teens will view this DVD & childcare will also be provided.
Special Missionary Requests
Gary & Ann Layne have requested special prayer as they conclude their furlough in the USA & head back to Mexico at the end of August. They will be traveling many miles in a short period of time & desire our prayers for health, safety & fruitfulness. The Robinson’s are also planning to return to Carriacou in late August. Pray for Walt & Linda as they also visit supporting Churches & as Linda recovers from a recent heart procedure.

Please continue to pray for Valerie McNeil as she is still grieving the recent loss of her husband Richard. Pray for the following with health needs – Darrell Ballard (cancer), Lodema Hale (surgery recovery), Hilda Jividen (Bee Ridge Care Home), Milissa Riley (surgery recovery), Victor Wise (SweetBriar), Ann Neidlinger (sickness) & others listed in the Prayer Bulletin. Also pray for Dottie McCray’s sister who is experiencing serious breathing problems.

General Fund Update
As of today we have received $235,139 in our yearly giving to the General Fund of CLBC. Thanks to everyone who continues to give faithfully & generously. We have 2 more weeks before the fiscal year closes on July 31st. Let’s all continue to pray about our need & give as the Lord directs us. May our Tithes, Offerings & sacrificial gifts not only help us meet our 2017/2018 budget, but may our giving also Glorify God & bring great joy to our hearts!
