This is an extremely busy & exciting week at Cross Lanes Bible Church. Below is Information & an Invitation to be involved in some special activities.
TONIGHT – AWANA Awards Night & Fellowship will be held in Fellowship Hall at 6:45 PM. This is the last AWANA meeting until next September. The adults who are not involved in AWANA will meet at 7:00 PM in the auditorium for Bible Study & Prayer.
THUR – Jolly Seniors will have their final meeting & luncheon of the year tomorrow at 11:00 AM at the CLCS gym.
FRI – Cross Lanes Christian School will be holding it’s 36th Commencement at 7:00 PM in the auditorium of Cross Lanes Bible Church. Delegate Tim Armstead, Speaker of the WV House of Delegates, will be the Graduation speaker.
SAT – The Histimers will be taking a trip to Hills Creek & Droop Mt. The Shuttle bus will leave the Church parking lot at 9:30 AM. Also, due to several conflicts WALLBUILDER’S will be CANCELLED this Sat & will not resume again next September.
SUN – Join us for a wonderful day at CLBC!
Plan Ahead
SUMMER WED EVENINGS – Beginning on Wed, June 3rd the Award winning DVD series “WALKING WITH GOD IN THE DESERT” will be shown at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. This series features renowned teacher & historian Ray Vander Laan & is filmed on location in the Middle East. The 7 part video series will teach us how to experience God’s amazing Grace & provision during difficult times.
Also on Wed Evenings, starting on June 3rd, we will be having a special ministry called KIDS QUEST for all children 3 years of age thru the 6th grade. This program will take the place of AWANA through the Summer & will offer fun & Bible learning. Children should meet in Fellowship Hall each Wed at 7:00 PM. All teens can choose to either help in KIDS QUEST or attend the DVD series in the auditorium. There will also be nursuries provided for babies & toddlers each Wed evening.
SUNDAY, MAY 17th – Baptismal Service during the Morning Worship Service. Contact Pastor Dave if you desire to be Baptized.
SUNDAY, MAY 24th – There will be a POTLUCK PICNIC for the entire Church Family on Memorial Day Sunday immediately following the Morning Worship Service.
