Here are some Prayer requests & Updates for the Cross Lanes Bible Church family.
The Funeral Service for Roy McClain will be held this Fri, Dec 19th at 2:00 PM at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home in Poca. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Roy went home to Heaven this past Saturday. Please keep Jean & her family in your prayers at this difficult time.
Eli Klennert is doing well at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan after undergoing two serious brain surgeries last week. He is out of ICU & has begun physical & occupational therapy. According to his Doctors he is doing very well & making good progress. Please continue to keep little Eli, his parents & his grandparent, Chuck & Vickie, in your prayers.
There are several others in our Church family who need our prayer support at this time. First a praise! It was good to have both Sue Forsbrey & Ivan Gillispie in our service last Sun morning after they each went through recent surgeries. Continue to pray for Tim Appleton (cancer), Jim Carr (health concerns), Ann Neidlinger (health concerns), Okey Pickrell (health concerns in Parkersburg) & others on the Prayer list in your bulletins.
Please pray for our Church during the Christmas season. Pray our Adult Choir as they prepare for the Christmas Concert this Sunday morning during our Worship Service. The concert is entitled Christmas Alleluia. Invite others to come with you to the concert & pray for the Lord to work in hearts thru the music, readings & preaching of the Christmas story. There will also be a special Christmas Candlelight Communion Service at 6:00 PM on Sunday. Also pray for our 2014 Christmas Offering. Our goal is to raise $22,000 for Global missions support & the CLBC capitol projects fund.
