CLBC Update

Tonight

All ladies are invited to a potluck dinner this evening at 6:00 PM at the home of Colleen Nichols. ( 104 Oakland drive, Cross Lanes ). Missionary Carol McCaffery will be the special guest. Everyone attending should bring a dish to share.

Wednesday Evening

There’s something for the entire family tomorrow at 7:00 PM at CLBC. Adults will meet in the auditorium for Bible Study & Prayer. There will also be programs for the children & teens. AWANA begins on Wed, August 23rd.

Sunday Morning

Our Annual Meeting will be held this Sunday as part of our 10:15 Worship Service. Join us as we rejoice in God’s blessings over the past year & look forward to the year ahead.

CLBC Kid’s Activity

All 1st thru 6th graders are invited to go to the JUMP ZONE on Sat, August 26th. The bus will leave the Church at 11:00 AM. The cost is $5.00. Pastor Jon is leading this special event.

Youth Group Kick Off

The CLBC Youth Group (grades 7-12) Will be kicking off a new ministry year on Wed, August 30th. If you’re a Teen make plans to attend & bring your friends with you. More details to follow.

Congratulations to Jim & Jean Mclane on the birth of their 2nd Great Grandchild!

Prayer

Here are a few to keep in prayer this week:Debbie Barker (upcoming surgery), Beth Buckley (serious health issues), Katie Cobb (cancer), Julie Hamilton (health concerns), Harold Longenecker (Serious health concerns), Agatha McGrath (recent hospital stay), Ann Neidlinger (health issues). Pray for the 1st week of school at CLCS which started today. Pray for our President & the Lord’s protection on our Country.
