Tonight is our final AWANA club meeting until August. All parents & family members are invited to attend the special AWARDS presentation in Fellowship Hall at 6:45 PM. Special thanks to Shaun Shamblin, our AWANA Director & all of the workers who have assisted him in ministering in AWANA this year. CLBC will be providing something for the children thruout the Summer on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00 PM while the Adults meet in the Sanctuary.
Also this evening at 7:00 the adults will be continuing our study entitled “Spiritually Strong.” Join us as we study God’s Word & Pray together.
Upcoming Events
**Friday, May 18th – The Histimers will gather for a Potluck Dinner at 5:30 PM & then be treated to a musical concert by the Matthew Carrol family at 7:00 PM.
**Saturday, May 19th – The Class of 2018 will graduate at 11:00 AM in the school gymnasium. All are welcomed.
**Sunday, May 20th – All 2018 High School & College graduates will be recognized in the Worship Service at 10:15 AM. Communion will be observed during our 6:00 PM service & a reception will be held after the service for Ramzi & Daad Hourani who will be moving to Greenville, SC next week.
**Sunday, May 27th – Our annual Memorial Day Potluck Picnic will be held after the morning service. Everyone should bring a main dish & a side dish (salad or dessert) to pass.
**Wednesday, June 6th – The award winning DVD series, “That the World may Know,” by Theologian & Historian Ray Vander Laan, will begin at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. This latest segment is entitled “A Clash of Kingdoms” & focuses on how we as Christians can live the message of the Gospel daily in a sinful world.

Please pray for the following with medical needs: Darrell Ballard (cancer), Jim Hale (cancer), The Hourani’s granddaughter (hospital in Greenville, SC), Gary Johnson (tests), Richard Mcneil (recent surgery), Lee Walker (cancer), Wayne Whittington (Treatments), Anne Niedlinger (Med needs) & others listed in the Prayer Bulletin. Pray for our Youth & Children’s ministry. Pray for the Lord to provide for our General Fund needs by July 31st.
