FRIEND DAY
Tomorrow is a very special day at Cross Lanes Bible Church – FRIEND DAY 2014! Here is the schedule for the day.
**SUNDAY SCHOOL at 9:00 AM
****FRIEND DAY CELEBRATION at 10:15 AM – Join us as we reach out to our community with the Love of Jesus Christ. During the morning Worship Service we will welcome our Friends, including visiting Public Servants, and give every guest a gift bag from CLBC. We will also be blessed by listening to Gospel music by the Humphreys Quartet and a special number by our Choir. The Sermon tomorrow is entitled “The Glorious Gospel.” Pray that the Word will go forth with power, clarity & compassion. Invite someone today to come with you to the Friend Day service.
**GOSPEL SING AT 6:00 PM – The Humphreys Quartet will be singing several special numbers along with congregational singing. Also you certainly don’t want to miss the Famous (Infamous?) Pastors Trio which shows up just once a year to sing at this event. (We’d be arrested if we tried to sing more than that!) 🙂 After the Gospel Sing there will be a time of Food & Fellowship for everyone in Fellowship Hall. It promises to be a very enjoyable evening for all who attend.
PRAYER
Pray that the Lord will bless each of our services tomorrow as we seek to Glorify God by lovingly presenting the Gospel! Pray for Tim Appleton (cancer), Sue Forsbrey (recovering from surgery), Ann Neidlinger, Eli Klennert, former member Bob Finch (blood clot) & others with needs in our Bulletin.
CRAZY HAT & SOCK NIGHT
This Wed from 6:30 – 8:00 PM AWANA is sponsoring an outreach for our community. Bring the entire family & invite your friends & neighbors to come to the Church for Crazy Hat & Sock Night. There will be Inflatibles, games, prizes, food & lots of fun. All absolutely free! This will be a great opportunity for our Church to reach out again with the Gospel. Any adults who can help on Wed evening please contact Shaun Shamblin or Cheryl Boyd.
