Hurricanes & other requests
This past Sunday morning we began our Worship Service with a time of special prayer. The main focus of our prayer were the people affected by Hurricane Harvey & the new Hurricane which is headed toward the USA. Please continue to pray for the people of Texas who have suffered much loss already & for safety & protection for those in the pathway of Irma. Pray specifically for our missionaries Ken & Nancy Kirkland who appear to be in the direct path of the storm. The loss of lives & property from Harvey is of historical proportions & Irma has the potential to be just as bad.
Other items of prayer would include the serious international situation with North Korea. Pray for wisdom for President Trump & our military leaders. Pray for Jeanie Lindsey after the recent death of her brother. Pray for folks with medical needs including Debbie Barker (knee), Beth Buckley (stroke & other issues), Katie Cobb, Rose Landers, Donna Legg, Linda Miller & Bill Morton (all with cancer), Julie Hamilton, Gary Johnson, Arnold Shamblin & Ann Neidlinger (health needs), Harold Longenecker (coma) & others listed in the Prayer Bulletin.
Wednesday Evening
There will be something for the entire family tomorrow at CLBC. The adults will meet at 7:00 PM & we will continue with our brand new Bible Study entitled “Written in Stone: The 10 Commandments. AWANA & Youth Group will also meet at 6:45 PM.
