March for Missions Begins
This Sunday, March 1st we kick off March for Missions! Tim Keesee, founder & director of Frontline Missions International, will be speaking at 9:00 AM & 10:15 AM. He is the author of the award winning book & DVD series DISPATCHES FROM THE FRONT. His Gospel endeavours have taken him to some of the most remote & dangerous places on earth. His new book will be available to purchase for $13 this Sunday at the Welcome Center. You do not want to miss meeting & hearing Tim Keesee while he is here at Cross Lanes Bible Church!
Please note: Due to some unexpected developments Dr Keesee will not be able to be with us for the Sunday Evening service as previously announced. Instead we will be celebrating Communion at 6:00 PM.
March for Missions Schedule
Sun, March 1 – Dr Tim Keesee speaking at 9:00 AM & 10:15 AM.
Sun, March 8 – Pastor Dave Buckley will be continuing his series from the book of Acts at 10:15 AM. During our evening service at 6:00 PM we will hear testimonies & updates from our own Church family about Kenya, Guatemala & other places God is at work in the world.
Sun, March 15 – JD Crowley (Cambodia) will be speaking at 9:00 AM, 10:15 AM & 6:00 PM. Missionary Joe Stinson (Canada) will also be ministering to us.
Sat, March 21 – Men’s Breakfast at Golden Corral at 8:00 AM. Speakers will be Pink Davis & Bill Branks. Tickets are available in the church foyer.
Sun, March 22 – Pink Davis (New Zealand) & Bill Branks (Church planting-Detroit) will be speaking at 9:00 AM, 10:15 AM & 6:00 PM.
Mon, March 23 – Ladies Brunch at Jeanne Clark’s home at 11:00 AM. Selena Davis & Tamra Branks will be the special missionary guests.
Sun, March 29th – Pastor Dave Buckley will bring March For Missions to a close with another message from the book of Acts.
Prayer Request
Please pray for God’s blessing upon March For Missions! Ask the Lord to give our missionaries safety as they travel & effectiveness as they minister at CLBC. Pray that we as a Church body can be an encouragement to our missionaries while they are here. Also pray for those with physical needs like Sue Forsbrey (hospital-recovering from surgery), Ann Neidlinger, Tim Appleton & others on our prayer list. Pray for our national, state & local leaders. Pray for Christians around the world facing persecution from ISIS & other radical Islamic groups. Pray for Jehovah to do a great work thru our lives & the ministry of Cross Lanes Bible Church!
