What can I do?
The state of Texas & in particular the Houston area is experiencing a devastating Flood. Lives have been lost, property destroyed & many have been displaced from their homes. What can we do here in West Virginia to help? We can Pray & Give!
PRAY: Join us tonight at CLBC as we spend a special time in Prayer for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. There’s nothing more important than the Prayers of God’s people at this time.
GIVE: If you would like to donate to help those in need in Texas, you may go to Samaritan’spurse.org or mail a check to their office- PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Be sure to earmark Hurricane Harvey Relief. Or you can give to CLBC & designate it for Hurricane relief & we will mail a check from the Church for you.
Let’s continue to Pray for those who’s lives have been affected by this disaster & also for Emergency Crews & Work crews in Texas.
Extra Prayer Requests
There are two prayer needs that I was unaware of yesterday when I sent out my Blog.
**Pray for Gary Johnson who has Pneumonia & other health concerns.
**Pray for Arnold Shamblin who was recently in the hospital with serious health issues.
**Also, Debbie Barker’s knee surgery went well yesterday & she is recovering & beginning rehab at Thomas Hospital.
