Two Saints in Heaven
Recently two members of CLBC were promoted to Heaven. This past weekend Charlotte Witt died. Her Funeral service will be tomorrow, July 2nd at 11:00 AM at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home in Poca. Visitation will begin an hour before the Service. Please keep her husband Orville & the family in your prayers.
Yesterday Goldie Carpenter was also promoted to Glory after 90 blessed years upon this earth. Funeral arrangements are being made. Please pray for her family at this time of loss.
Tonight at CLBC
Join us this evening at 7:00 PM as we continue viewing the excellent DVD series “Walking with God in the Desert.” Tonight’s video is entitled “When your Heart cries out.” Kid’s Quest will be held for all children in Fellowship Hall.
Patriotic Sunday
This Sunday we will be honoring America with a special service at 10:15 AM. Immediately following the service the Church family will be enjoying a Picnic together. We still need people to sign up to provide potato salad, baked beans etc. for the Picnic. Sign up this evening at Church or call the Church office today or tomorrow to help us. There will be no Sunday School or Evening Service this Sunday.
Prayer
Please pray for The families of Charlotte Witt & Goldie Carpenter during this time of bereavement. Pray for the following with physical needs: Tim Appleton (at home-cancer), Pat Johnson (chemo), Wadiah Istfan (Physical rehab), Ann Neidlinger (health concerns) & others on the prayer list. Pray for our Church to effectively communicate the Gospel in a dark culture. Pray for Revival in our land.
