Worship
The adventure in the book of Acts continues tomorrow at Cross Lanes Bible Church! Last week we experienced the Storms & Shipwreck as Paul began his voyage to Rome to face trial for preaching the Gospel. Tomorrow morning, during our 10:15 Worship service, we will see what happened when the shipwreck survivors landed at a tiny Island called Malta. Like Paul, there are times all of us need healing after being battered & bruised by the Storms of life. Come & learn more with your fellow Disciples in the morning.
Sun School for all ages will be held at 9:00 AM. The Evening service, which will start at 6:00 PM, will focus in on the life of Elijah & how he found healing after a very difficult time in his life & ministry. See you tomorrow at CLBC!
Prayer
There are so many reasons to hit our knee’s in Prayer! Please pray for the following with physical difficulties – Tim Appleton (cancer), Pat Johnson (chemo), Ann Neidlinger (health concerns), Milissa Riley’s Mom (heart issues), Linda Smith (ankle injury), Joe Stinson (pneumomia) & several others with health issues listed in your Bulletin. Pray for Walt & Linda Robinson as they make plans to return to Carriacou August 24th. Pray for Cross Lanes Christian School as the new school year begins in 2 1/2 weeks.
Praise
we are grateful that through the faithful giving of God’s people we were able to hit our giving goal to the General Fund for our Fiscal year. We came up about $5,500 short in the Missions Fund. Pray that the Lord would help us catch up in Missions giving early in the new Fiscal year.
