Events at CLBC
Tonight their will be AWANA & Youth Ministry for those 2 years old thru 12th grade at 6;45. Last weeks response was so good that more AWANA & youth workers are needed. Please let Shaun Shamblin know if you can help. The Adults will meet at 7:00 PM in the auditorium for a continuation of our new “Hero’s of the Bible” series & prayer time. There will be a Deacons Meeting at 8:15 PM.
Saturday the WALLBUILDERS men’s group will meet at 8:30 AM in room 3. We will be studying the book “The Gospel At Work.”
Sunday is BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY at CLBC. Sun School is at 9:00 AM followed by our Worship Service at 10:15 AM. Please invite fellow church attenders who may have gotten out of the habit of attending to come with you to Church this Sunday. Also, bring 1st time visitors with you to hear the Gospel. Our Evening Service will be at 6:00 PM followed by choir rehearsal.
Prayer Requests
Please continue to pray for Walt & Linda Robinson’s 2 yr old granddaughter, Jaday. She is in the hospital in Huntington with serious health problems. This morning she had a procedure done on her ankle to try to help heal a staph infection affecting the bone. The procedure went well. She is also on heavy antibiotics for MRSA.
Pray for our Church & School staff who will be attending the WV Christian Educators Convention on Thur & Fri in Flatwoods.
Pray for my son, Jeremy, who will be leading a group of 15 people to Kenya with 58TEN ministry. They fly from Philadelphia today at 6:00 PM & will be gone for 11 days.
