For our encouragement from God’s Word today please read Deuteronomy 31:1-8.
In the passage before us Moses spoke these words to Joshua. “Be strong & of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them. And the Lord is the one who goes before you & He will be with you…….Do not fear or be dismayed!”
It is easy to talk about being brave when everything is peaceful & calm, but it is in the midst of the storm when we find out what we are really made of. As we continue to face this terrible Pandemic, let me encourage you, like Moses did to Joshua, to “Be strong & of good courage!” Why? Because the Lord is with us – we do not need to fear or be dismayed.”
The preacher from yesteryear, Alexander Maclaren, once said ” If we have God in our hearts, we have enough for courage & Strength.” Look to Christ Jesus to help & encourage you today!
