For our encouragement from God’s Word today please read 11 Corinthians 5:1-10.
In 11 Corinthians 5:8 the Bible says “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body & to be present with the Lord.”
Over this past week I became aware of 3 families that I know & love who have suffered the death of Loved Ones. It’s always hard to lose someone you love, but under the present circumstances dealing with death is especially difficult. I am so thankful that all 3 of the people who passed away knew Christ as their Savior & their loved ones will see them again. Praise God for the Blessed Hope of the Believer & the truth that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!”
Is Jesus Christ your Savior? Have you responded to His finished work upon the Cross of Calvary in Faith? If not, trust Jesus today & have assurance of an eternal home in Heaven!
