For our encouragement from God’s Word today please read 1 Samuel 17.
In 1 Samuel 17, David, the Shepherd, was speaking to King Saul about the giant Goliath. In verse 37 the Bible says “The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the Lion & the paw of the Bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David – Go & the Lord be with you!”
There was just one reason that young David wasn’t afraid of the mighty giant……because the Lord was with him! Do you realize today that the Lord is with you also? We each have our own giants in our lives to slay. Some can be big & scary! But we don’t need to fear – when God is with us, who can stand against us? Not a Philistine giant or a Coronavirus Pandemic! Instead of cowering in fear, let’s live in confidence today…….because the Lord is with us!
