For our encouragement from God’s Word today please read Psalm 121.
This Travelers Psalm records a song the Jewish Pilgrims sung as they traveled to Jerusalem to participate in the yearly feasts. These faithful followers of Jehovah were praising God for His protection & presence as they embarked upon their journey. Like these Pilgrims of old let us give Thanks that “Our help comes from the Lord the Creator of Heaven & Earth!” Let us rejoice that “He never sleeps or slumbers!” Yes, the Lord is always on Duty for us. Even in times like these we can count on our God!
