I want to begin by thanking you for praying for my former hometown of Midland, Michigan. The good news is that no one has died so far because of this historic flooding. The bad news, if you’ve been watching, is that this devastating flood has destroyed much of the city & the homes of so many people. Please continue to keep Midland in your prayers.
In the passage before us today the Psalmist encourages the children of God to keep their eyes on Him. Since He is our Light & Salvation there is really nothing to fear. He is the One who watches over & protects us. So whether we are experiencing a global pandemic…….a flood of biblical proportions……or both……we can count on the Lord to come through on our behalf. As Christians we are safe in the arms of Jesus!
