Ocean Commotion
Vacation Bible School 2017 continues tonight & Thurs Evenings at 6:30. We have had a great time so far & are excited about the rest of the week! All children ages 3 thru 6th grade are invited to come & enjoy Bible stories, games, crafts, snacks & just an overall Fun time. Pray for the Lord to use VBS to work in the lives of children & their families. DUE TO VBS THIS WEEK THERE WILL NOT BE ANY OTHER EVENTS TONIGHT. (adult bible study, youth group etc)
Honoring America
Sunday, July 2nd will be a special day at CLBC. During the Worship Service at 10:15 AM we will honor America & seek God’s help & blessing for our nation. After the service we will come together for a family picnic in Fellowship Hall. Please bring a main dish & a side dish to pass. We will not have Sun School or an Evening Service on July 2nd.
Prayer Requests
Although we will not be meeting this evening like we normally do for prayer I encourage you to pray for the following special needs. Heather Ghareeb’s mother, Brenda Bowen is in hospice care at Thomas Hospital.Others with health needs include Virginia Cadd (foot), Shirley Corbin (knee), Karen Higginbotham (heart), Bill Goodell & Dolores VanMeter (cancer) & others listed in the Prayer Bulletin. Please pray for Kay Ghareeb, Rae Lanham & Edie Nancarrow on a missions trip to Jamaica this week. Pray that we will have generous giving to our General Fund as we approach the end of our fiscal year 0n July 31st.
