Jon Brokke at CLBC
Tomorrow is an important day at CLBC. Jon Brokke, Youth Pastor prospect, will be here tomorrow so we can get to know him better & he can get to know us. The schedule will be as follows:
**Sun School (9:00 AM) – Teaching the Youth Group
**Worship (10:15 AM) – Sharing his testimony & doing special music
**Lunch (11:45 AM) – A pizza lunch for all teens & children & their parents with Jon in Fellowship Hall
**Evening Service (6:00 PM) – Preaching (also Q & A at end of service)
Jon Brokke has put together a “Youth Ministry Philosophy” paper & a “Youth Idea’s” paper for ministry, Discipleship & Evangelism. These papers are available at the Welcome Center.
Please be much in Prayer for both Jon & our Church as we consider this step of Faith!
Along with serving as our Youth Pastor he will also teach part time at CLCS. His salary will be shared between the Church & School. A congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, April 30th, at the conclusion of the morning service, to vote on a Call to Jon Brokke as our new Youth Pastor.
